مسجد الاَقصی از اماکن مقدس و مورد توجه مسلمانان در شهر بیت‌المقدس واقع در سرزمین فلسطین است. ساختمان این مکان در ابتدا به دست داوود نبی و با عنوان معبد بنا و در ادامه به دست حضرت سلیمان تکمیل شد. پیامبر اکرم (صلی‌الله‌علیه‌و‌آله‌وسلّم) تا هفده ماه پس از هجرت به سمت این مسجد نماز می‌گذاردند و علاوه معراج پیامبر اکرم (صلی‌الله‌علیه‌و‌آله‌وسلّم) قبل از هجرت، در این مسجد اتفاق افتاده است.
